We also have our nursing professional development group where pre-nursing students can attain their BLS certification. Current, active Rock Medicine volunteers can checkout loaner books to be used for BLS recertification. Please be sure to verify costs and book requirements with the provider directly before signing up as we cannot guarantee these are still accurate. If this is the case, please contact us and we'll work with you to determine if it can be accepted. This will allow us to help you before you spend time and/or money getting certified! We understand that some workplaces such as UC Davis and CalFire issue their own Healthcare Provider CPR cards in lieu of one listed above. ![]() If you have any questions, please contact us prior to taking your course. * Physicians currently licensed in the state of California do not need a seperate BLS / CPR certification. CPR/First Aid or Heartsaver CPR/AED will not meet these requirements as it is not a healthcare provider certification. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept these certifications or training courses.
